Buddhist monks celebrate Buddha Purnima on the 2,561st birth anniversary of Buddha at Ghantasala village in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Ghantasala is a rare Buddhist archaeological site. Buddhism, the world's fourth-largest religion has over 500 million followers in East and South East Asia, Sri Lanka and India, whose spiritual practices are based on the teachings of Gautama Buddha.
