COLOMBO: The Dubai-based Flemingo International, which suspended its ferry service between Thoothukudi and Colombo in November last year, will resume the service in about a month’s time.

Speaking to Express here on Sunday, Flemingo’s resident CEO, P K Thimmayya, denied Sri Lankan reports that his company had opted out.

He said Flemingo had identified a smaller vessel with a capacity of 400 which could operate on this route economically, unlike the earlier vessel, MV  Scotia Prince, which had a capacity of 1040. The new vessel is from the Mediterranean region.
