Dutt emerged as a prominent journalist post her 1999 Kargil stint and was known famously for her primetime shows, 'The Buck Stops Here' and 'We The People'.

After Arnab Goswami's big exit from Times Now, here comes another goodbye. Barkha Dutt, the anchor face and consulting editor of NDTV has been a journalist with this news firm for 21 years. Her official twitter handle saw tweets emerging of her exit in the form of farewells, reminiscences, and gratitude.

A graduate from Jamia Milia and Columbia School of Journalism, her Twitter handle updated her bio to 'contributing columnist of The Washington Post'

NDTV also released an official statement wishing her good luck for her future opportunities. "In all her years with NDTV, she has been hugely productive and has grown with the organisation, becoming an acclaimed, award-winning journalist of repute across India and many parts of the world," the channel said.
