After their emotional but highly acclaimed outing together with Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu, the father-son jodi of Anant Nag and Rakshit Shetty will be seen together again in editor-turned-director Sachin’s debut.
Tentatively titled Ruvaae, the project might go on floors in February after Rakshit gets back from his promotional tour of Kirik Party. According to sources, discussions are through with Anant Nag and he has liked the script. It is just a matter of making an official announcement.
The female lead will be Shanvi Srivastava who will be paired opposite Rakshit for the first time. While the team is in the process of finalising the rest of the cast, bringing the hit combination of father-son is enough to garner the attention of the audience.
The film is produced by H K Prakash under Sridevi Entertainers. Their first project was Rangitaranga, a successful film of 2015 which garnered enough attention around the globe.
Technically, the film will have Manohar Joshi’s cinematography and Charan Raj’s music.
