President today appointed H.R. Bhardwaj, Governor of Karnataka, to discharge functions of Governor of Kerala until Sheila Dikshit takes charge.
The government yesterday had appointed former Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit as Governor of Kerala, within three months of her defeat in the recent Assembly polls.
