GUWAHATI: Sheena Bora murder case accused Indrani Mukerjea's mother Durga Rani Bora today passed away due to old age-related ailments.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Dispur) Suprotive Lal Barua said 83-year Bora died in her residence.
Bora, who was bed-ridden for long, and her husband were taken care of by their grandson Mikhail Bora at their residence in Sundarpur area of the city.
Indrani is the prime accused in the murder of her daughter Sheena and the case is being investigated by the CBI at present.
