Sri M Supports 'Save Ulavi' Campaign

DHARWAD:Spiritual guru Sri M has supported the ‘Save Ulavi’ campaign undertaken by the pro-environment organisations.

After being felicitated by Pura Trust, Balanandan Trust and other pro-environment organisations here on Monday, he said there would be no life on earth if forests, trees and animals vanished. “It is our duty to conserve them all,” he said and praised the efforts of pro-environmental organisations to save Ulavi.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijayanand Dodawad, working president of Pura Trust, said many people had supported the ‘Save Ulavi’ campaign by signing a document, which would be submitted to the state and Central governments. Sri M also planted five saplings at the campus of Ulavi Channabasaveshwar temple on the occasion.

MLA Aravind Bellad, retired state Director General of Police Ajaykumar, environmentalist Shankar Kumbi and others were present on the occasion.
