THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ‘T D Dasan Std VI B’ has been adjudged the best film of the Amrita-Fefka film awards 2010 which was announced here on Wednesday. Actor Mammootty, for his performance in Ranjith’s ‘Prachiyettan and the Saint’ has been selected best actor while Kavya Madhavan for her role in ‘Gaddama’ has been adjudged best actress.

The honours were decided by a seven-member jury panel of eminent

personalities from various branches of media, chaired by veteran film director

K S Sethumadhavan.

While Mohan Raghavan, the director of ‘T D Dasan Std VI B’ was adjudged the best director, Salim Kumar, for his role in ‘Adaminte Makan Abu’ directed by Salim Ahamed has been honoured with special jury award.

Mohanlal has been selected for ‘Abinay Keerthi’ award and playback singer  

K J Yesudas would be honoured with lifetime achievement award. While Kunchako Boban bagged the ‘Yuva Keerthi’ award, Dileep was the jury’s choice for most popular actor. From Tamil, Vikram has been chosen as the best actor while upcoming actress Amala Paul bagged the best actress award.
