Bishwanath Sinha appointed as next Chief Secretary of Kerala

Currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of the Home Department, Sinha is scheduled to retire in September 2028.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state cabinet on Wednesday appointed Bishwanath Sinha as the next Chief Secretary of Kerala. A native of Bihar and a 1992 batch IAS officer, Sinha will succeed A. Jayathilak, who retires on June 30.

Currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of the Home Department, Sinha is scheduled to retire in September 2028. Officials noted that the government has adhered to the principle of seniority in making the appointment.
