After producing three box office hits – Nandini I Love You , Mitare Mita and Megha Sabarire Asiba Pheri – young and ambitious Anama Charan Sahoo has ventured to come behind the camera.
Mana Mora Prajapati , being produced by his Laxmipooja Productions, would be his directorial debut.
Set for release during the first week of December, the film features Deepak Kumar and Koel Banerjee as the lead pair while veterans Mihir Das, Pradyumna Lenka and Puspa Panda are in the cast.
After a long spell of absence on the silver screen , Sheela, who shot to limelight with her stellar performance in the film Gangasiuli, makes a comeback with this movie.
The plot, that takes shape on a college campus, is a story of love and romance of the teenaged college-goers.
Four of its songs have been picturised in exotic locations in Malayasia while the film was shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
“We finished shooting in India in a record number of 22 days,” claims cinematographer turned movie director Ranjan Mishra who has been the technical guide for the debutante director.
The producer-director has roped in his favourite duo for music composition and dialogue – Prasant Padhi and Rajani Ranjan – respectively.
Loafer
Seems lady-luck has been smiling on celebrity son Babusan ever since he had his debut. He has been the first choice of almost all the producers and directors these days!
The latest offer has come from Loafer director Ashok Pati who has roped in actress Archita to cast opposite Babusan. And the young sensation pair would be, apparently, the USP of the film as the viewers would be curious to see if the chemistry clicks between the two actors in their first ever movie together.
Though Archita and Babusan share the same age group, the female lead is far ahead of her opposite actor. It throws a challenge for the budding Babooshan for whom the character of a loafer is also equally challenging.
Goodly Rath has scored the music while all-time favourire Rajani Ranjan scripts the dialogues of this production that is an out and out movie of teenage love and romance. The film is slated for release during the New Year.
