One of the most awaited movies of the season - Katak - released on Thursday to mark the beginning of the cultural jamboree - Baliyatra. The movie is based on the underworld saga of the Silver City with the plot woven around ‘gundas’ and the Cuttack Police. The film has Sidhant Mohapatra, Mihir Das, Bijay Mohanty and Samaresh Routray in the lead roles. It has been directed by Subrat Behera and produced by Manas Singh.
The lyrics have been penned by Devdas Chhotray, Basant Raj Samal and Arun Mantri.
S ingers Sunidhi Chouhan, Shaan, Udit Narayan, Satyajit, Shree Charan, Sohini, Mandire and Sudipta Das have lent their voice.
