Air Odisha begins flight service

A nine-seater aircraft of Air Odisha Business House began operation from Bhubaneswar via Jharsuguda to Rourkela on Friday. The first flight reached Jharsuguda airport at 2.50 pm with Jogendra Behera being the first passenger of the flight accompanied by Air Odisha CMD R K Pani.

Jharsuguda Collector B P Sahu, SP K S Kawar and senior officials of Vedanta and TRL-KROSAKI were present at the airport.

Sources said while the Jharsuguda unit of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) claimed that the AAI did not receive any flight schedule details from higher authorities, CMD of Air Odisha said they have submitted all requisite documents to run the flight service.
