PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister Rangasamy on Sunday informed that an amount of `18 crore has been deposited in banks to be disbursed to beneficiary ration card holders in Puducherry and Karaikal as part of the cash for free rice scheme.
Rangasamy added that `600 (`300 each for months of February and March) would be deposited to each of the ration card holders in two to three days time.
