HYDERABAD: Calling the outer ring road a jewel, IT Minister KT Rama Rao called for better amenities to be created around it. The municipality is already developing greenery around the road project and facilities would soon be improved including the availability of ambulances every 10 km of the stretch, the minister said.
A trauma care centre would also be set up after consulting the health department, KTR added while admitting that there was the need for the entire ORR stretch to have LED lights. He ordered the concerned department to take up the case. Earlier, he held a review meeting with officials and was briefed that the Shilparamam, which is being constructed at Uppal, would be completed by Dasara.
