ADILABAD  : The BJP is now trying to spread its wings into places where it never had a presence before in the erstwhile Adilabad district.

With the party’s central leadership making it clear that TS will be its hunting ground in 2019 elections, the state leadership is making all efforts to push the party into remote and even agency areas.

The party flag posts, never seen in interior agency areas like Narnoor, Jainoor, Indravelli, Tamsi and others, are now coming up in these areas too and cadre is being strengthened at booth levels.

Recently, a large number of tribals from Bheempur mandal in Boath constituency joined the party.
The party high command is said to be in touch with senior leaders of other parties with clean image and stronghold in Adilabad and Peddapelli Parliament and Assembly constituencies.

TRS leaders who did not got nominated posts and are disappointed are reportedly in touch with the BJP high command, sources said. Also, a section of TJAC leaders are also in touch with them.

Of the 10 Assembly constituencies, BJP has a strong presence in Adilabad and Mudhole and now it is trying to focus on other segments. BJP is planning to complete the constitution of booth level committees in all the constituencies before June.
