How Tamil Nadu government is extending 'helping hand' to Sri Lanka

DMK members of Parliament will donate their one month's salary towards aid for the crisis-hit Sri Lanka, the party said on May 5th. This follows an appeal from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, for donations to help the Lankan people. It may be noted that the party has already announced Rs 1 crore towards this purpose. In a bid to help Sri Lankans who are battling the impact of the battered economy with suppl of essentials like food, CM Stalin had appealed to the people of TN to make donations.
