Israel strikes Lebanon, retaliates to Hezbollah's attacks following Khamenei's assassination

Israel struck Lebanon, leaving 31 killed and 149 injured, with explosions targeting a Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut’s southern suburbs on March 2. Israel also warned residents of 50 towns and villages in Lebanon's south and east to evacuate their homes and reach open spaces.The strikes were in retaliation for Hezbollah launching missiles and drones at Israel. Hezbollah had launched the attack reacting to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's assassination.
