Crestron Opens Software Engineering Lab in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Crestron has opened its software engineering lab in Bengaluru, the company’s first such facility outside the US.

Three years in the making, the new technology office represents Crestron’s strategic direction to expand its engineering research and development capabilities globally, beginning with this facility in Asia.

“We highly value the skills and talents of our employees in India and we will continue to cultivate and grow them as we further expand,” said Fred Bargetzi, CTO, Crestron. The new technology lab draws on the wealth of engineering resources in the region to innovate, extend, and continually improve on the company’s offerings to its customers.

The lab focuses on software and firmware. “I am thrilled that Crestron has opened a state-of-the-art office in Bengaluru as an extended arm of Crestron Rockleigh’s Research Center,” said Anil Prabhandam, Director, Firmware Engineering, Asia, Crestron.
