Hindustan Construction Company wins contract worth Rs 810 crore

NEW DELHI: Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 810 crore from Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation.

The contract is for construction of 93 MW (3x31 MW) New Ganderbal hydro power project on Sind River in central Kashmir on EPC basis. The work is to be completed in 48 months.

"Hindustan Construction Company has been awarded a contract worth Rs 810.37 crore contract by Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Ltd (JKSPDCL)," HCC said in a BSE filing.

Shares of HCC were trading 1.73 per cent higher at Rs 35.25 on the BSE.
