BANGALORE: AIR MARSHAL VR Iyer, air officer commanding - in-chief of IAF's Training Command, Bangalore and Air Marshal Keshava Murthy Rama Sundara, air Officer in-charge, Maintenance at Air Headquarters have been awarded the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) by President Pratibha Patil on the occasion of Republic Day.
The award is the highest honour conferred to military officials by thePresident.
The coveted PVSM conferred to Air Marshal Iyer is the recognition of his selfless and dedicated service stretching over almost four decades.
Air Marshal Rama Sundara is an Electrical Engineering graduate from MCE, Hassan.
