Darshan’s fans have also been looking forward to this action flick with great expectations.

The director has, in fact, tried to keep Darshan’s fans happy by including some thrilling stunt sequences.

Darshan has also put in his best efforts to showcase his dancing skills. But one has to admit thay his performance is not up to the mark in the emotional sequence where he loses his father and one of his close friends.

The story is about Datta (Darshan), a ‘professional’ killer. One day, he happens to see Anjali (Praneetha), a college student. Smitten by her beauty, he falls in love with her.

He also saves her from vicious police inspector Umesh Reddy (Shobaraj) who wants to keep her as a mistress.

Meanwhile, Ali (Ashish Vidyarthi), an underworld don whose aim is to create havoc on Children’s Day, arrives in Bangalore.

Satya (Sharat Lohitasva), another underworld don, tries to eliminate Ali but gets killed. The police commissioner (Devaraj) succeeds in arresting Ali but has to release him under unavoidable circumstances.

At this juncture, the director tells us that Datta is Suryaprakash, a special police officer assigned to nab Ali. The remaining portion of the film is how Suryaprakash loses his father and friend and how he teaches a lesson to Ali.

Ashish Vidyarthi is convincing as a vicious villain. Sangeetha Shetty looks beautiful.

Avinash has provided good support.

Sadhu Kokila, Sharan and Tennis Krishna have provided comedy. Praneetha looks beautiful but needs a lot of training to improve her acting prowess.

The film is a remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Pokiri’ directed by Poori Jagannath. Mahesh Babu and Iliyana were the lead pair in the Telugu version.

Though the Kannada version is not at par with its Telugu counterpart, it is worth watching.
