Cops told to work in a time-bound manner

The government will ensure that police work in a time-bound so that people’s satisfaction level, which is now at approximately 40 per cent, reaches 80 per cent in coming days, said CM Siddaramaiah.

Speaking after inaugurating a two-day Police Housing Conference, he said the government is planning to build houses for police personnel with innovative, efficient and eco-friendly technologies. “Police face many challenges in their work and this why they should be given freedom to do their duties effectively. We are also concerned about the long hours of work policemen put in. I personally feel that giving them proper housing is government duty”, the CM said.
