Kunal Ganjawala To Perform in Bengaluru

Express News Service

BENGALURU: Though singer Kunal Ganjawala proved his talent in Sa Re Ga Ma on Zee, it was while working with Ranjit Barot in his jingles phase that music directors were drawn to his voice. The rest is history as he made huge waves in the rather tepid Hindi film music scene with his song Bheege Honth Tere in the 2005 hit Murder.  He has sung since then for films like Saathiya (2002),  Paisa Vasool (2004), Khakee (2004), Rudraksh (2004), Dhoom (2004) and Meenaxi (2004) and has worked with music directors like Pritam, Himesh Reshammiya, Ismail Darbar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Anand Raaj Anand, Roop Kumar Rathod, Daboo Malik, and Sanjeev-Darshan.Over the years he has also sung many songs in Kannada films apart from making a mark in Hindi film music. His song Neene Neene from the film Akash in 2005 still has instant recall. He won the Filmfare-Best Male Playback Singer award in 2005 and has been a judge on many musical shows.
