BENGALURU: Bollywood producer Vandana Jain, who is currently in Bengaluru, was on Tuesday planning to discuss with cricketer Amit Mishra the further moves in connection with the case registered by her against him.

According to Vandana, Mishra’s attitude and what he did at the hotel has been bothering her a lot as he did not call or try to meet her after reaching Bengaluru. Since he appeared before the police instead of discussing the issue with her, Vandana has now decided not to withdraw the case.

A few days ago, Vandana had told Express that she was willing to withdraw the case as she had already forgiven him. She said that Mishra is more than a friend of four years and that she always cared for him. “There are a few questions I need to ask him as it is bothering me very much. I have not been able to sleep well for the past few weeks,” she said.

On Tuesday,  she  told Express, “Mishra had no courtesy to come before me and say sorry. He did not even try to call me over phone. I gave him a chance to correct himself. I thought he could have contacted me as a friend and explain what drove him to assault me. I don’t know what is driving him to do so. Hence, I don’t want to withdraw the case.

“He said he has not physically abused me, but I have medical reports to prove it. Let the court decide. I have given all medical reports, other proof and evidence to the police.  It is enough to prove that what he did to me,” she added.
