COLLAGE brings Myoho, a line inspired from simplicity,blended into timeless and elegant creations.
Myoho is Buddhist for the mystic forces of nature.
Myoho also means a seamless confluence of inspiration, ethnicity and femininity.
Each ensemble is designed to come alive on the wearer and frame her feminine core. The confident detailing that is definitive but never daunting or the subtle design that has tiny folds, pleats and tucks tell their own timeless story.
Easy, relaxed, organic and universal, each Myoho ensemble is derived from a storehouse of Indian hand looms and fabrics that are earthy and natural. The surfaces and treatments are inspired by the myriad of simple visual forms in our everyday lives. And the final product is interplay of earthy texture and colour, a kiss of fresh simplicity that restores the balance in the otherwise chaotic dance of the universe of today.
About the Designers
Myoho is the passion child of designers -Kiran Jaisinghani (29) & Meghna Agarwal (25)
The thirst for a medium to express her random ideas, her moods, brought Meghna to study fashion design at NIFT. Easy, relaxed and non-fussy; Meghna’s creations are an extension of herself. With emphasis on comfort, she likes the touch of ethnicity to complete every ensemble.
For Kiran, it was the minute art-and-craft detailing that went beyond playing with paper and clay onto dabbling on the huge canvas of different fabrics that got her to study design at SNDT University. The constant thirst for multi-cultural influences reflects in her global designs.
Myoho will be on the racks at Collage from the May 22 onwards.
