CHENNAI:  Four FIRs registered by the Foreshore Estate, Virugambakkam, Nungambakkam and the Kodambakkam police against Sun TV Network chief operating officer (COO) Hansraj Saxena, were quashed by the Madras High Court on Monday. Justice T Sudanthiram quashed the FIRs following the submissions of the complainants that the disputes pertaining to business transactions and other problems had been settled. Even a perusal of the FIRs showed that there were disputes between the parties over money and the complainants were threatened by Saxena, the judge pointed out. Considering the ratio laid down by the Supreme Court, the pleas were allowed and the criminal proceedings quashed, the judge said.
