With the summer temperatures slowly coming down to manageable levels, the fashion for the season is also changing. And contributing to that change is Lookbook, a fashion boutique started six months ago, with its brand new collection for the season. Displaying a lot of monochromes (combination of black and white), studs, and neons (bright colours) in the collection, the boutique launched their collection with a well-timed fashion show.

Models scorched the ramp squeezed into the store, showcasing the collections’ bold black and white-striped jeans, a key colour to this season. Pumps were also part of this collection. Other exciting stuff one can add to their wardrobe are studded bags, clutches and accessories that give a fabulous look to the attire that you choose. Shades of neutral colours with studs on it are a great add on.

“We are setting up an international standard of clothing in Chennai for reasonable rates. The store, which was opened nearly six months ago, has good response from fashion freaks. Right now, Lookbook has just one outlet and we are yet do decide about expanding the store,” says Nazia Syed, a well-known Fashion designer, also the designer for Lookbook.

Chennai has seen a huge development in every aspect in the last decade and clothing is no exception. “We are planning to introduce trendy salwars apart from the Western and Indo-Western outfits that we offer now,” adds Nazia.

Accessories with shades of fuchsia, turquoise and electric blue also add a bold look to the collection that starts from `199.
