Insecurity makes us feel lonely and aloof

Some negative Karma had been generated each time Ratnagiri spoke harshly to Roopa on the phone whenever he failed to obtain an appointment. So I wanted Roopa to be here when he came.

She gave him sweets to sweeten the tongue that spoke harshly to her. She also received an apple from him in return. Now all the Karma that was generated between them has been completely wiped out.

Look at my fate! The Guru is nothing but a giant eraser! His job is to erase the Karma of people. Then they become aware of the divine radiance that was masked by the clouds of their own Karma till then!

Don’t be obsessed with perfection: A team of devotees had been working together to give the Ashram website a new look. Vasanth’s colleague Ramachandra had offered to help with the project, as he was a trained graphic  and website designer.

Though he had been working on this for a while he was visiting the Ashram for the first time. This was also his first Darshan of Shri Nimishananda Guruji. Vasanth and Ramachandra sat in the Darshan Hall talking things over and seeking some clarifications from Shri Nimishananda Guruji. There were several technicalities to be sorted out.

After the discussion had concluded, Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “Don’t let yourself be carried away by technicalities. No doubt a certain amount is necessary, but one should not get enmeshed in them. Too much technicality makes your life dry. If you try to be perfect all the time, you miss a lot in life. Do your best and leave the rest to God. When you let Divinity take over your life, you feel light and free. Each day is utterly joyous. When the Divine enters your life, three things are taken away from you — boredom, loneliness and aloofness. For the past four hours, I have been fully occupied. Four hours have passed like four minutes. Nothing seems like work or drudgery because the spirit within is fully activated. So you enjoy everything that you do and there is neither boredom nor pressure.”

He added, “The feelings of loneliness and aloofness are not strange. We have all experienced them. Insecurity makes us feel lonely or aloof. In some people a subconscious feeling of insecurity is so high that when they sleep they cover their entire body and head with a blanket.

“This gives them the feeling of being in their mother’s womb. These are subconscious reflexes that may vary from person to person. Being with Divinity is like being enclosed in the golden womb of creation.”
