CHENNAI: Educomp, a which provides digital learning solutions to classrooms with its product SmartClass, launched another concept SmartSchool — next generation smart learning products for schools — on Saturday.

SmartSchool integrates five layers of technology for schools. “The concept looks at school as an integrated learning ecosystem. It has five products. Here, students can learn through 3D lab with Smartclass-recommended lesson plans. They can do virtual experiments and master language through English Mentor,” said M R Krishnamoorthy, regional CEO-South, Educomp SmartClass.

“Schools and parents can keep track of a student’s cognitive development through Educomp Insight and Educomp Online. Schools can link students, teachers and parents and enable information exchange, messaging, assessments and peer to peer learning,” he added.

The SmartSchool launch coincided with the 10th year celebration of their previous product SmartClass, which is being used in 15,000 schools in the country including 2,500 schools in Tamil Nadu. SmartSchool is already being used in 20 schools.

As part of the launch, Educomp organised a seminar  on SmartSchool for school principals in the city. They felicitated school members who adopted digital classroom through SmartClass.
