CHENNAI: TNCC president EVKS Ilangovan released the second volume of the book titled ‘Vetri Padikattu’ by H Vasanthakumar, on Sunday at the Kamarajar Arangam. Actor-turned-politician Kushboo Sundar received the first copy of the book. Dr Kumari Ananthan, presided over the event. A compliation of ‘Vetri Padikattu’ programme, which is being telecast on Vasanth TV every day, the 75 episodes in the second volume of the book will act as a catalyst for those who aspire to succeed in their respective fields. Each episode has been interspersed with interesting examples and has a short story that shows how to battle against the odds in life. The first volume of the book was released in 2012.  The book launch saw the who’s who of Tamil cinema attending it, besides a poetry debate by Tamil scholar Ilasai Sundaram.
