Smriti Irani Kicks Off TNIE 's 'ThinkEdu'

It’s back! The New Indian Express’ ThinkEdu Conclave returns this year, with a line up of leaders and speakers of every stripe — from those who make policy to those who debate it, holding the floor right from the get go. The conclave this year will have its who’s who list of speakers debating it out in a series of riveting conversations, debates and a few stand-alone lectures.

The two-day event kicks off today (February 9) at the ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The conclave will be inaugurated by Union Human Resource and Development Minister, Smriti Irani and will feature panel discussions with political movers and shakers that include Farooq Abdullah, Ram Madhav and Poonam Mahajan, among other personalities.

Filmmaker and cinematographer Santosh Sivan and Art of Living proponent Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will also be part of this mega event, while leading educationists, businessmen and policy makers like Shiv Viswanathan from the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, Venkatesh Kini, president of Coca Cola India, M M Pallam Raju, former Union minister, Dinesh Singh, former vice-chancellor of the University of Delhi and a host of others will make their presence felt at this showcase event. The conclave has no entry fee for students, while delegates will have to register online.
