Fire breaks out at gym owned by Salman Khan franchise in New Delhi’s Greater Kailash-I area

NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at a gym owned by Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s franchise in New Delhi’s Greater Kailash-I area, police said on Friday.

No casualties or major damage was reported, police said.

The fire broke ut at 10.15 pm on Thursday on the first floor of the gym in M Block Market, following which the fire brigade was alerted, they said.

Local police personnel reached the spot and promptly evacuated all occupants of the gym before the arrival of the fire brigade, ensuring their safety and averting any injuries in the blaze, a police officer said.

The site of the blaze was secured after the firefighting operation. Police said the franchise is operating under the Bollywood actor’s gym brand.
