HYDERABAD: The Siva Sivani Group of Institution’s golden jubilee year celebration were held at Hyndava Nimantran function hall at Kompally here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sailesh Sampathy, vice-president of Siva Sivani Group of Institutions said the the Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM) is offering two new courses in global business and banking insurance finance with an intake of 60 students in each course for two years. “Quite a few educational institutions are offering the courses in the city, while our institute is providing better facilities while conducting campus interviews for student’s benefit,’’ said Sampahy. He said the SSIM had tied up with at least 76 prominent companies. They conducted campus interviews and around 97 per cent students were placed. “SSIM is consistently ranked amongst the top business schools in the country offering various courses in business studies. The institution has occupied a place of prominence in the national scene with students from across the country taking admissions here,” said Sampathy

“Six educational institutions of the group were functioning in the city with more than 450 students studying various courses,’’ said Aarathy Sampathy, president and chief executive of Siva Sivani Group of Institutions.  She said the institutions obtained approval in 1992 from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct a two-year full-time post graduation programme in business administration. Later, she unveiled the golden jubilee logo at the function. Students performed various cultural events.  K S Ramachandra Rao, director of Siva Sivani Group of Intuitions, executive vice-president Prof M Kamalakar were present.
