The House Committee, appointed to probe the alleged irregularities in the ongoing expansion works of Rajiv Rahadari, a state highway connecting Hyderabad to Ramagundam via Karimnagar, has said the note file, giving details about the consortium that was awarded 208-km long road works has gone missing.

“We have asked the officials to take action against those responsible for the missing of the note file. Officials replied they would reconstitute the entire file with the previous records soon. They also said they would initiate action against those responsible for the missing file,” Bhanu Prasada Rao, chairman of the house committee, said.

The committee submitted its interim report on the alleged irregularities in the Rajiv Rahadari works to Legislative Council chairman A Chakrapani on Saturday. Bhanu Prasad said the works of Rajiv Rahadari were not as per the norms of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
