Eamcet topper wants to master robotic technology

EAMCET-13 engineering stream topper is interested in robotic technology in IIT Bombay. He is not interested in joining any college in Andhra Pradesh as he is expecting admission to computer science engineering at IIT, Bombay.

Pallerla Sai Sandeep Reddy, son of a postgraduate teacher in a social welfare school in Prakasam district Lakshminarasaiah, expects a single-digit rank in the JEE Advanced, an admission test for IITs.

Sandeep Reddy had scored 986/1000 in Intermediate studying with a private junior college in Hyderabad and 563/600 marks in Class X which he studied at a private school in Gudivada in Krishna district.

The Eamcet topper has scored 311/360 in JEE mains examination and 418/460 in BITS Pilani entrance examination apart from performing well in the JEE advanced, the results of which are awaited.

The delighted top ranker has said that he had better chances to get a seat in  prestigious institutions like IITs, BITS and NITs. Confident of securing  single digit rank in IIT advanced, Sandeep Reddy has said that he already decided to join with IIT Mumbai in CSE.

Explaining about his future plans, he said that he will move to foreign countries to pursue MS in robotic technology and wanted to settle down as an expert in the field. The boy has scored 154/160 marks in Eamcet.

Second ranker in the engineering stream Grandhi Srujanraj takes inspiration from his relative Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao, a leading industrialist in India and founder of GMR Group, aims to become an industrialist.

Srujanaraj hails from Rajam in Srikakulam district and did his schooling and Intermediate in Visakhapatnam at a corporate institute.

He had excellent academic record throughout his career scoring 575/600 marks in class 10 and 983/1000 in Intermediate.

He also expects a seat in all the leading institutions in India and  scored 318/360 in JEE Mains 411/460 in BITS and also expecting good rank in the JEE advanced.

Speaking to Express Raj says that he will opt for Electronics and Communication Engineering in any of the IITs. The boy secured 152/160 marks in Eamcet.

Third ranker Koraganji Gokul from Vijayawada is also expecting a top 200 rank in JEE  advanced and aims to pursue Computer Science Engineering at any IIT. He scored 567/600 in Class X and 976/1000 in Intermediate. His father Hanumantha Rao is a farmer in Krishna district.

The fourth ranker K Saikiran is the son of mobile phone shop owner from Brodiepet in Guntur.

Saikiran has a good academic background and scored 553/600 in class X and 982/1000 in Intermediate. The boy  scored 151/160 marks in Eamcet.

The lone girl to secure a rank among the top five in engineering or medicine, Y Jyotsna plans to study EEE or ECE in any one of the IITs in the country as she expects a good rank in JEE advanced.

Joytsna’s father worked with a publishing house in Srikakulam but a corporate college in the state admitted the girl at their branch in Vishakapatnam in Intermediate as she had scored 572/600 in class X.

Proving all the expectations against her right the girl scored 151/160 marks in Eammcet and bagged 5th rank.

Expecting a better job after her graduation from IIT, the topper told Express that she wanted to assist her family economically. Joytsna scored 984/1000 marks in Intermediate and 321/360 marks in JEE mains  and also performed well in BITS entrance examination.
