Telugu Varsity to start 11 courses

The Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University is introducing eleven new courses this academic year.

University vice-chancellor Elluri Siva Reddy told reporters here on Friday that two of the courses would be regular and nine evening courses.

The curricula of the existing courses will undergo changes. The evening courses, lasting one year, will be useful to students who cannot pursue a full-time course. A notification mentioning the list of the courses and the last date of application will be released by the university on Saturday.

The prospectus for the new and existing courses will be available at the university campus from June 12 or can be downloaded from the university’s website. The academic year starts in the first week of August.

Siva Reddy said members of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) , who visited the campus, appreciated the diversity and standards of courses offered by the university.
