Youth knocked down by train

A 20-year-old youth succumbed to injuries on Tuesday morning at a private hospital, after he was hit by a goods train at Lingampally railway station while crossing the tracks.

I Gopal, a student of VJR college, was returning home at night after writing an exam at a private college. He chose to cross the tracks to take a shortcut, and was hit by a goods train on Monday night.He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died while undergoing treatment.
