RTC introduces two CAT cards

The AP State Road Transport Corporation has made minor changes in the Concessional Annual Cards (CAT). In place of seven types of CAT cards available currently, it introduced Navya and Vihari CAT cards on Wednesday.

Navya cards come in three denominations _ Rs 250 for a fresh card, Rs 150 for renewal and Rs 100 for add-on _ are valid for one year. The card holders will get 10 per cent concession in fares on all buses, except air-conditioned and city buses. Besides, they will also get a free accident insurance of Rs 1.7 lakh, a hike of Rs 20,000.

Vihari CAT Cards have been introduced in place of JHT and Couple Gift Cards and are available for Rs 500. The Vihari cardholders can travel on RTC buses within the state and also inter-state services, except AC buses.
