SOME SHOPPING LOVE
Radha (second from right) and Kaushalya Reddy (second from left) are well known Kuchipudi exponents along with their daughters Yamini Reddy (extreme right), the Padma Bhushan awardee, and Bhavana (extreme left). But the family of artists say that it isn’t just the dancing that keeps them together. “We love shopping and have a lot of fun together,” shares Yamini. While it’s usually the daughter who loves her mother’s cooking, Kaushalya Reddy's favourite part of her relationship is the food her daughter prepares. “I share a bond of a friend with Yamini. She is my right hand, my backbone and half of my confidence,” says Kaushalya. Radha Reddy isn’t expecting much for this Sunday as she feels gifts are materialistic but the love is unconditional. What Yamini admires most of her parents is Radha’s genuine nature and Kaushalya’s dynamic attitude.
