A colorful parade marked the passing out ceremony of 163 trainees who completed their training course in fire fighting techniques at the Fire Services Training Institute in the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) campus here on Thursday.

The XI batch of constables/driver-cum-pump operators completed their 15-weeks of basic training at the premier institute of the Central Industrial Security Force under the Union Home Ministry.

Addressing the trainees, inspector general and director of the NISA, Anil Kumar,  highlighted the stellar role played by the CISF-Fire Wing in protecting the lives and properties. He exhorted the trainees to uphold the glorious legacy of the CSF.

Explaining the training details, FSTI principal BN Bhattacharya said trainees have acquired skills in a wide array of subjects like industrial security, security of buildings, monuments and vital installations.
