On World Hearing Day Ashray Akruti will launch a mobile hearing clinic van which will be inaugurated by KT Rama Rao.

HYDERABAD: With 3 March being observed as World Hearing Day across the world, Ashray Akruti, a voluntary organization working for hearing impaired and those with disabilities will be doing its bit to raise awareness and promote ear and hearing care in the city. As part of the NGO’s World Hearing Day celebrations Ashray Akruti will launch a mobile hearing clinic van, which will be inaugurated by KT Rama Rao, IT minister. 

The sound proof mobile van fitted with hearing screening equipment will visit Integrated Child Development Services Centers (ICDS), urban slums and old age homes to give services in ear care. During the event Ashray Akruti will also gave away free hearing aids to 15 inmates of old age homes and 25 children associated with NGO.

A poster envisaging the importance of ear care will also be released. During the event, winners of the national video contest  conducted by the organisation will also be awarded. While KT Rama Rao will be the chief guest, Jayesh Ranjan, secretary to government, will also grace the occasion.
