Stop yawning and start moving

HYDERABAD: Irregular Sleeping Pattern: A normal adult is advised to sleep for at least seven to nine hours daily. When you sleep less than required, your body naturally feels tired as you get through the day. There is no way you can catch up on your sleep. If you sleep less during the week, oversleep on the weekend, your body will still feel tired. It is important to have a balance.

Dehydration: When we fail to drink enough water and keep our body hydrated, our body mechanism alters itself in order to compensate for the less amount of water. The blood becomes thicker and this makes your heart work harder in pumping oxygen. This slows down our functioning, making us lazy.

Lack of exercise: Lack of exercise makes the body feel tired. An exercise routine for our body makes it more energetic.

Skipping Breakfast: There is a misconception that skipping breakfast will help us lose weight. But the reality is that we tend to eat more than our regular intake. This exhausts the energy reserves in our body, leaving us tired all day long.

Checking your phone while in bed: The glow of our phone screens tends to keep us awake for longer than expected, leaving us all sleepy the next day.

What to do?

Foods like tomatoes, blueberries, black beans, walnuts and oats can give the boost your body is craving for. Beat the laziness just by drinking enough water, sleeping well, and having an exercise routine.
