HYDERABAD: After a chaotic Monday, the city witnessed a peaceful Tuesday as the maximum rainfall in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits was recorded to be only 2.2 cm at Bandlaguda near Uppal. In most places of the city, rainfall was recorded less than 1 cm. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued warning that thunderstorm associated with heavy rainfall is very likely to occur in isolated places across all districts of the state on Wednesday. 

Across the state, the highest amount of rainfall was recorded to be 8.4 cm at Yacharam in Rangareddy district. On Monday even with small quantity of rainfall, water logging was reported in some areas affecting flow of traffic. Some areas of the city experienced power cuts.
