KOCHI: Kochi City Police Commissioner Manoj Abraham has been selected for the ‘Man of the Decade’ Award instituted by the People’s Forum of Kochi.

Manoj Abraham has been selected for the award for his outstanding leadership in maintaining law and order in the city and for implementing various community policing schemes.

The People’s Forum of Kochi is an apex body comprising members drawn from organisations like the Indian Medical Association, the Ernakulam District Resident Association Apex Council, the Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The award will be given away at 6 PM on January 16 at the IMA Hall.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture KV Thomas will present the award to Manoj Abraham. Mayor Tony Chammany will be present.
