KOCHI: Mathew Jacob from Kerala Toastmasters Club won the divison-level humourous speech contest held among 13 Toastmasters’ clubs at Riviera Suites, Thevara.  The first and the second runners-up were Nagraj and Jane Rose, respectively. Evaluation contests were also held.

The contest was opened by the division governor Jayakumar C Pillai and the master of the ceremony was V T Monish. Nina John, governor, education and training of district 82, was the chief guest. Other dignitaries included Nirmala Lilly, governor, marketing of district 82. Limi Rose, from TCS Kochi Toastmasters Club, won the evaluation contest. The first and the second runners-up were Jeyash Abdul Rahman and Stanley John Mathew, respectively.
