Debutant director Sajeevan Anthikad brings out the social, religious and political issues of society through his first venture ‘Prabhuvinte Makkal’. The movie focuses on the diverse issues of society with more transparency in its visuals and dialogue.
“The film is a youth-oriented one which incites not only the emotions, but also the human tendency to believe in the supernatural forces. Besides, we tried to bring to light how blind the beliefs are,” Sajeevan told a press conference here on Wednesday. “Even though we had to pay a considerable amount of money to the theatres for running the movie, the response we got from the audience was very positive. Their acceptance of the movie itself is a great achievement”, he said.
