The Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court on Monday asked the Crime Branch, which is investigating the Paravoor sex scandal, to produce the death certificate of the third accused in the fourth case of the scandal.

The court will give its order in the case on June 24.

Rajashekaran Nair, 73, the third accused in the fourth case of the Paravoor sex scandal, had committed suicide at his residence in Elamkunnapuzha last Saturday, just two days before the court was to give its order in the case. The prosecution informed the court that the accused had ended his life. The court then asked the prosecution to produce the death certificate of the deceased person.
