Express News Service

Despite an year after the installation of the high-mast lamp  in front of the Hill Palace Museum, the Tripunithura Municipal authorities  are yet to light the lamp.

According to the public, the apathetic attitude of the authorities towards lighting the lamp is affecting the safety of the museum. “It is a shame that the authorities are unable to ensure facilities to one of the prominent museums in Kerala. Vehicular movement has become difficult in these junctions,” said Tripunithura Municipal Councillor C K Sasi.

However no step has been taken in this regard yet. Sasi, who has introduced the proposal, said the mast lights will be switched on soon. “The mast light at other junctions will be installed soon,” he said.
