Startup Job Fair at SCMS

‘Startup Job Fair’ aimed at promoting domestic entrepreneurship and opening job opportunities for youngsters will be held at SCMS Campus, Kalamassery, on Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm. Labour Minister Shibu Baby John will inaugurate the programme, being organised by SCMS Group in association with Bagyourjob.com, on Friday.

“Bagyourjob.com is just like Facebook. Each user has a wall where job vacancies related to one’s skills will be posted and the person can contact the employer if interested,” said Midhun V Shankar, CEO of bagyourjob.com. “The fair will be a good opportunity for job aspirants as most of the participating firm are not more than two years old. They are on the lookout for fresh talents,” he said. The minimum qualification to participate in the fair is grade 12 pass.

“We are coordinating with many engineering colleges and hope to attract a good crowd,” said Charlie, CEO of RHL Vision.

Around 25 companies are participating in the fair and over 100 vacancies are open.  Walk in registration or log on to www.bagyourjob.com to avail facility of online registration.
