Kochi Student Wins Ticket to ‘Disneyland’

KOCHI: Pratyush Padmanabahn, a Class V student of Navy Children School, Kochi, stood second at the Silverzone Foundation’s International Olympiad held in Delhi and has won a ticket to ‘Disneyland’ Hong Kong.

Silverzone Olympiad Exam was held in 2013 to 14 and results were declared in August. Silverzone Foundation New Delhi selects students with outstanding performance at the International Level for an Educational Excursion to a foreign country annually.     And this year students visited their favorite Disneyland Hongkong. Selected toppers from Classes VI to XI of Silverzone Olympiads win Educational Excursions abroad apart from cash prizes and laptops. This year, eight winners of Level 3 of Silverzone Olympiad 2014 were selected for the trip. Educational trips with peers help children develop bonding, teamwork and sense of  responsibility, co-scholastic skills, life-skills, emotional strength and overall personality.

Silverzone Students from Singapore, Dubai, Ghana, Bhutan, Moscow, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan had participated in the Olympiad.
